About The Secret Wardrobe

l had been researching products and premises for some time to realise my dream of opening my very own Ladies Boutique, when my Mum unexpectedly became very ill with Cancer, so my dreams were put on hold.

After she passed away I was clearing out her clothes and she had many! When I discovered another wardrobe at the back of a built in wardrobe in her bedroom, this led to a Aladdin’s cave of clothes, jewellery and bags I had never seen and I think she had forgotten about as some of them still had tags on. This was how The Secret Wardrobe was born and named in memory of my late mother Sue.

The Secret Wardrobe opened its doors in March 2013. With the aim to make women feel good about themselves and feel confident in what they are wearing. We take great pride in providing a personal and friendly service and believe every customer should feel special when visiting us.

Our greatest strengths are in putting together outfits and advising ladies on colours and styles to make them feel and look special and the best version of themselves.

Offering a range of family run British branded clothing and accessories we offer something you wont find on the high street. We have unusual and colourful clothing which are all of very good quality at high street prices, that fit well, wash well and most importantly flatters ladies of all shapes and sizes , all of our clothing is available in sizes 8 – 20 .

We also have a extensive ever changing range of stylish jewellery, scarves, handbags and shoes to complement any outfit, together with a beautiful range of gifts for any occasion. In addition we also offer a full colour and style consultation service.
